Ms. Touma’s work is published by Long Dash, being first picked up by BooksByBookends. In fact, Pamela Wisneski, spokesperson for BooksByBookends continues to enthusiastically promote Pat. “Ms. Touma’s books are great for children,” Wisneski says. “We hope to see her go far with her stories.”

Publishing was the next logical step for Pat, after a long and varied career in the arts. She spent time in the corporate world and then moved on to be a model, actress and singer before becoming a Personal Assistant to the stars. First, Brooke Shields, for whom she did everything from scheduling photo shoots, setting up her personal appearances, reading scripts and accompanying her to dinners. Her next association was with the “volatile, fascinating and never-a-dull-moment” Anthony Quinn. Pat took care of his personal and professional requirements, which included his interest in painting and sculpting. In fact, she was his model (“I was thrilled and flattered,” she recalls.). Pat sat for two portraits, forging a “never to be forgotten friendship which is still very much missed.” Ms. Touma has a copy of one of the two portraits that he painted of her and has an ongoing friendship with Quinn’s wife and two of his children.
